Ed Kennell 42,138 #1 Posted May 10, 2012 My C-120 WORK HORSE, and my C-160 PLAY HORSE. The C-160 I picked up has three 3/8" holes in the top of the hood. No marks in the paint where anything was mounted. Could they have been there from the factory?
redmosquito1 2 #2 Posted May 10, 2012 They might have been for a hood ornament. Little silver thing that went on top. That sounds big though. Maybe someone mounted lights
stevasaurus 23,301 #3 Posted May 10, 2012 got a picture of that hood??? Red is right, sounds to big 3/8 for the ornament. I see you have the ornament on your one horse. :)

Martin 2,133 #5 Posted May 10, 2012 maybe it was for something crazy like this....... or some other aftermarket light. HL-6 light kit....... HL-6_304.pdf...
Anglo Traction 761 #6 Posted May 10, 2012 I see your C-120 looks like it has had a Heart reduction from 12hp to 8hp ? forget that. It must be a techy. ....you should not have any other Holes in the top of the Hood apart from the Ornament. Reckon a PO has been making a few changes with a Drill.
