rustyoldjunk 127 #1 Posted July 12, 2008 i was at a friends repair shop the other day and noticed a 418H so i took a closer look and noticed it had "trussed" front spindles.did all the 400 series come this way? i should have measured while i was there.are they the same length as say the C series and or the 300 series?the fronts on my C161 seem pretty worn,so i was thinking maybe....... kpinnc 11,795 #3 Posted July 12, 2008 Rusty, The heavy duty spindles like those on the 520-H have a brace welded into them. But I believe they are also 1 inch diameter spindles. Kevin

Curmudgeon 28 #6 Posted July 13, 2008 It's a sweet little kit, IF you can still get one. Much stronger spindles, larger bearings in new wheels, the whole works. Even slippery coated washers to ease steering effort. A definite good thing!!!!!
