i am rebuilding a 55 rj-35 that the PO cut off the hood stand and moved it forward 3 inches{ it is now junk}i am replacing it with one of a junk rj-58 frame, and the drive selector bar was cut off so we made a new one. my question is does the selector bar bolt to the engine or is it just welded to the hoodstand?if it is bolted to the engine also what engines will it bolt too a clinton or kohler k-90/91?anyone have a couple good pics of what i am asking about?

Rick if you are talking about the horz. bar with the speed position holes in it

it's welded to the up right hoodstand bar 6" from top of frame where the motor bolts down

I will try and get a pic for you and post it if thats what you are looking for
