I have three of these belt gaurds and one has the two holes and the other two have three holes like the one in the pictures above. gomer gump 8 #6 Posted May 20, 2012 my uncle used to fall asleep on the assembly line when he used to work / sleep at wheel horse yrs ago just kidding i,ve seen over the years many holes, and stamping wrong alot of fan gears misalinged yours could be just a simple mistake or maybe its holes for sickle bar mounting check attachments manuals may show what u need u.s.m.c.
