A few trinkets from the Colchester CT. show

It was a real good weekend for me! I've been looking for a set of fenders for an RJ for awhile now. I got em yesterday, they are mint and a great price. I also picked up a very clean reel mower for a Suburban, now all I need is a Suburban. The prize find of the day was found by my 10 yr. old son Cole. He was cruising the grounds all day on his RJ and he spotted a lighted Wheel Horse sign. Can anyone put a date on the sign?

On the sign where it says "collector of" the letters are stick ons, the rest of the sign is no doubt an original Wheel Horse sign. The guy I got it from said he had it for at least 25 yrs. He was a collector of Wheel Horse's in days gone by. He told me he started collecting Horse's in the early 80's and that he has had his fun. He has since sold 95% of his collection. Next weekend I need to go pick up an original RJ 35 front weight that goes on the inside of the hood, and maybe a few more goodies.....

Good finds Ken. I saw you and your son at the show but didn't have the opportunity to introduce myself. My booth had the 520 with cab and 2-stage blower, 418-8, 753 and the Suburban - The Suburban was for sale just in case you missed that.

I can't wait until my 2-year old son can drive himself around too.

Yep... 1965-ish. There's a dealer brochure on ebay about it right now. (Although the one in the brochure says "Equipment" instead of "Tractors")... so I'd say it's +/- a year or two.

Hi Matt. I stopped by your tent a few times and every time I did you weren't there. I'm sure I'll see ya at another one this summer.

I was probably giving my son a ride around the show. I can't believe I missed out on the HL-5 light kit. I didn't even see it. How much did it sell for?
