How rare is a 418-8?

I've been wanting a Kohler twin powered gear drive tractor. I see WH made the 418-8 for two years only. Are there many out there? What would one cost in working condition?

I had a 417-8 with an electric lift. Very slow up and down when working with a snow blade and it is a big draw on the electrical system when plowing at night. Still better than manual but hydraulic is the best IMO

I have a 418-8 and LOVE it. I actually prefer it over any of my other tractors because I love the 8-speed & electric lift combo. The electric lift is a little slow but I like it because I can easily adjust the height of the plow blade. They make a 418-A if you want.

I had one in very good cond and it was a great running tractor that I used only to mow and till, so the electric lift worked excellent for those purposes. I really liked that tractor about the best of all WH 300/400/500 series. I payed a good price(500) as I bought it with another tractor at the same time, sold it for 1000. Since I sold it, I have not come across another, but it has to do with location also.

I must have been half asleep. I meant 417-8, Kohler powered. I know of one for sale, not as nice as I'd like condition wise but I've never seen another. Not sure if I should take it or not.

417-8's are more plentiful than 418-8's. Both worthy machines... Don't rule out a 520-8 if you run across one...
