Pilot78 7 #1 Posted April 30, 2012 This past weekend I tore into my new wheel horse project RJ58 with the K91. The recoil rope was pulled out to I figured I just could replace the spring I took the engine serial# 422723 up to the local small engine place and they told me the spring was discontinued. So my question would be is there a replacement I could use? I saw a spring for a small Kohler on Ebay but it's gone now. Or can I use another spring off another engine if it has the same length? My second question is where is the best place to get a service manual/parts list for the K91? I saw a few on Ebay also but didn't know if there was something here on Red Square. wallfish 18,187 #5 Posted May 1, 2012 I'm not sure if this manual is for the same recoil but it looks like it. I have reused broken springs before.
