Mitchell Leach 0 #1 Posted April 29, 2012 i gota model 108-4 that eats blade drive belts like we eat chocolate i put kevlar belts on at 18 dollars ea and they only last 3 hrs wtf all the pulleys turn free and no sharp edges the belt flips upside down then shreds what is causing this??? email me please at mindbndr2006@gmail.com with any ideas please Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
can whlvr 994 #2 Posted April 29, 2012 well something aint right,id check the angles of the belt,check when its tensioned that every thing turns with no drag on it,never even seen a 108 so im just taking a stab here,check for exreme heat after mowing for a while,maybe you got a bad bearing and its heating the belt up too much Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
