Got a new Lawnroller

Hey all

well i got me a "new" for me. Lawn Roller that is made of concrete. And its heavy it's almost 1250Lbs.. it didnt have a frame to pull it so i had to made me a frame.. so here are some pict of it.

Thanks all..

I have rolled my yard to day and it works very good.. but it is a bit to heavy, should have been around 900-1000lbs that is enugh

Cool roller! My dad had a concrete roller when I was little but as I remember it was a good bit smaller than yours.

Well i rolled rest of my lawn to day.. Then i took out my broders D-180 to try it.. it worked much better then my Raider whit it..

Funny thing, just this afternoon I was thinking about making a concrete lawn roller.

Looks like it works really good. I know you enjoy using it.

Can you give us an idea of the size of the roller part Lars?

My puller would be a 312-8. Based on your post I think it should cope with something in the 1200-1400 lb range; my lawn is level..

It looks as though concrete weighs in at 140 lbs / cubic ft, so to achieve a 1200lb roller it should need to be about 8.5 cubic feet;

to get that sort of volume, it'd need to be 1.5ft diameter x 2ft width. Is that about right? yours looks bigger than that Lars.
