MaineDad 87 #1 Posted July 11, 2008 Hey guys, I just bought a 1975 C-160! Saw it today in the local buy and swap guide, Uncle Henrys, listed for $500 OBO. Comes with a 36" RD deck and a 48" Dozer blade. Automatic with hydraulic lift. Only 646 hours on her. All said and done at $425. I pick it up tomorrow afternoon. Of course I will take pictures. Model # - 1 0481 Serial # - 152913 Engine - K341S I am very excited about getting a C-160. Does 3 horses make a herd? B)

MaineDad 87 #6 Posted July 11, 2008 Thanks guys. Does anyone have a parts manual for a 75' C-160 in a PDF file?
WheelHorse_of_course 99 #7 Posted July 14, 2008 Micah, Great find. I have heard that two is company but threes a herd! Use your options carefully, the C-160 will suck down the gas (partly because of the hydro) so save it for the jobs where you feel you are straining the other horses. How is farming? I imagine lots of greens, peas, squash are all going with lots of other crops just around the corner. Cheers B)
MaineDad 87 #8 Posted July 14, 2008 Thanks. All of the gardens started slow this year, but have come right along with the recent heat. We have been eating lettuce every night with plenty more available. The squash and cukes are really doing well with the potatoes and tomatoes not far behind. All in all things are looking good. MaineDad 87 #10 Posted July 14, 2008 Mike, The one I just bought - the engine runs great. Only 646 hours. The tranny does not work currently though. I'll get her going. I have always wanted a C-160.
