carlsbarn2 7 #1 Posted April 18, 2012 I want to put 26x12x12 tires on my C-175. What is easiest way to get fender clearance and keep deck from hitting when in reverse ? If I put spacer under fender assemble,my gas cap sits too low to open,I really didnt want to start cutting fenders & deck .
Kelly 1,033 #2 Posted April 18, 2012 I put a 3/4" spacer under my fenders to raise them, I can still get the gas cap off no problem, and I used 10" wide rims so the tires are flat not bowed up in the middle, I'm not sure you will be able to use a deck on it with that size tire, I would guess the deck wheels will rub the tires. Here is my 520 with 26x12x12's

Sparky-(Admin) 23,284 #4 Posted April 18, 2012 You may have to run a 36" rear discharge deck on your 520 with those tires.... . A 36" deck on a 48" wide tractor ! Mike................

Kelly 1,033 #6 Posted April 18, 2012 Yes my cap is low, but I can still get it on and off, I did use a cap off a MTD with out the gauge, my 520 has the guage on the dash.
