well heres a seat pan decal on one side. i thought id tape the template i made to the matt black sample piece and cut out a decal......

fun cutting out and getting smooth flowing curves.......

while this looks nice, i think i need terry with his machinery to make it look smoother...... i like working with that vinyl terry, very easy to apply.

the other side isnt perfectly symmetrical, but with a little finessing is close enough to just reverse the pattern. ( not that i was expecting these panels to be perfectly formed in the first place).....

if you want more detail, all of my pictures show more decal if you click on them, (just in case anybody didnt realize this)

Martin, I would have thought that adding the Matt black decal wouldnt look right on a tractor of that vintage. but I have to honestly say it looks very sharp at first glance and really adds to this tractor. keeping things looking clean without the hood ornament was also a good choice. I would consider doing this to one of my tractors someday.

terry, the hood ornament will still be going on there. the holes are under the vinyl......

it wont be chrome though.....none of the 3 i have are looking any good.... so it will be powder in probably matt black.....

That one is a little to "Qantas", I was thinking more along the lines of this old classic:

For those that dont know, Kiwi's and Aussies have a deadly rivalry in just about everything. The Aussies cant stand it that a country 5% of their size and about 20% of their population, consistantly manages to whip them in most sporting events. They even resort to stealing away a lot of the top sports people, actors and musicians and then turn around and claim them as their own. No surprise really, as we all know their heritage comes from being a prison colony, and we should expect it.

We at Red Square are fortunate that Martin seems to have been somewhat "Americanified" and actually seems to be a reasonable bloke, probably all due to the efforts of his wife!
