Jesserries 0 #1 Posted April 11, 2012 I recently bought a 522xi which is a great tractor by the way but the deck is rotting out as most of them do. I had it patched but its worse then I thought when I bought it, the whole shell is starting to go. I was wondering if anyone knows if the deck from a 520H or any other wheelhorse model would fit under the xi?

You can also look for a deck from a Toro GT550 or a new Holland (forgot the model number), they're the same tractor as an xi.
Jesserries 0 #4 Posted August 20, 2012 Would it be possible to cut the brackets off of my 5xi deck and mount them to a 520h or similar model deck to make it fit on the xi?

Jesserries 0 #6 Posted August 26, 2012 Somebody here did that with a Simplicity deck. Do you know what model deck they used to make the frankenstein? Everyone I ask about it says that the 5xi deck are specific to that model and I get that but Im wondering if theres anything specific other then the mounting hardware? If I could get a good deck, preferably a fab deck rather then a stamped, and swap over the mounts I dont really see what would stop it from working but that could be an expensive experiment.
