Pilot78 7 #1 Posted April 9, 2012 I brought my first horse home to the hangar this weekend. When the wife saw it she said "I want my own", so I guess that is permission to start collecting a few more. I have my eye on another, but the old guy hasn't decided if he wants to sell yet. Attached are a few pics. Brian SLC-Ut RJ58

neil 2,410 #6 Posted April 9, 2012 Now that is nice . You did well in buying that , it even has the ID plate still on it , As i said previously that would like just amazing if you just cleaned it up and just oiled it , keep it original Fantastic Find

Ken B 3,189 #12 Posted April 10, 2012 If you do plan on a total restore that is a very straight and original tractor to begin with. It looks like she once had a snow blade on her as I can see the outline of the plow frame brackets. Nice score.
Hydro 131 #13 Posted April 10, 2012 Are you going to use it as a mule? Reason I asked is that I had a commercial pilot after one of my tractors for that very purpose. :scratchead:
Lars 526 #14 Posted April 10, 2012 looks good to be in org cond... Nice find
VinsRJ 723 #15 Posted April 10, 2012 With the attachment you did well...... BTW, as Ken said it looks as if it had a plow on it at one time....... Or even a front mount reel mower :eusa-think:
stevebo-(Moderator) 8,527 #16 Posted April 10, 2012 I say keep it in it's original clothes. Only thing I would do is paint the seat and wheels then give the entire tractor a washing with soap and a scotchbrite pad. Rinse and allow to dry... then oil it up with some light weight motor oil or WD-40. She will "pop" then!!
SousaKerry 503 #17 Posted April 11, 2012 looks like you need an "air-horse" I've seen a few on the internet before somehow looked wrong with no front axle just floating there
