mark89 0 #1 Posted April 8, 2012 bought a Tecumseh 6 hp today to put on the lawn ranger. heres the prob it did not have spark when i started. Then i pulled fly wheel then cleand points an magnets on fly wheel. I then got enuff spark to shock me but wouldent fire. pulled the fly wheel agin an checked the points an put back to geather an this time no spark or shock idk what could i could have done wrong or missed. will post id number later to night Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

wheelhorse656 20 #3 Posted April 9, 2012 You more than likly have a weak condenser I have the points and condencers for $5 each if you are intreasted. Also make sure your points and condencer are gaped a 18 to 20 thousenths . Mabey you arnt getting fuel threw the carb or mabey a bad plug? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
