Wheel Crazy

Here is a few pictures of a lawn mower I have had for a couple months and finally decided to start working on it!! It has a 12 hp Briggs and Stratton and going to have a 5 speed peerless trans-axle. It will also have atv tires!!! Hopefully I will finish it tomorrow, or in the next few days!! lol What colors whould I paint it? I was thinking a blue with a black stripe??

Atv tires sitting next to it!

Is that the one that is chain driven to the rear axle with an diff and a large sprocket ? If so it should hold up fine.

Well, I got the 2 speed tore out and the 5 speed put in!! Also mounted up the atv tires! Next i have to make a brake mount and cut a hole for the new 5 speed shift pattern. The original rear rims/tires won't clear in the front do will have to find something else! Here are some pictures!! :woohoo:

Looks like it might float now. I don't see that thing getting stuck any time soon with the new tires.

No, it has a trans-axle, i hope it will hold up! Most guys lock the trans-axle so they are stronger, but don't have a welder to do it, so just gonna leave it for now.

Thanks!! I don't know about the paint yet?? May or may not paint it??

id go with red & a black stripe just like a 1066 international farm tractor. for front tire clearence how about cutting and boxing the frame rails at the rear of the tires at full lock? i dont think the belt will be in the way. Jay
