Army manuals

Forgive me if this is already known. Just discovered if you are a member of the military and have access to AKO there is every single manual for every tractor on their site. Was really surprised to see all the wheelhorse repair manuals for every model. I than realized they cover every brand starting from 60s. Also have all cars, motorcycles, you name it. Really ecstatic and wanted to share. I know there are some military people on here.

Yep, you'll have to set up an account. On a govt system you can also log in with you CAC/ID card.

You need your ID card to log onto the govt system/computer at work. Your installations CPAC should be able to set you up.

I ran across the manuals about a year ago. I use the Chilton's manuals for my car, and just recently looked up the repair manual for an old 57 Ferguson tractor.

Highly doubt it...security is pretty tight on that system.

I can download and save them to my computer but not sure if I am permitted to distribute. FOUO means for official use only. Any one with a common access card CAC should be able to get in. Once in go to self service tab. Go to my library. Every manual you could imagine is there.

The "Download Them All" Firefox extension is handy for downloading lot of files all at once. You can filter what it downloads to *.pdf or *.jpg, etc. www.downthemall.net

Then groups of files can be zipped up into 200mb files (or less) and uploaded to mediafire.com
