If you own a520-522xi or are knowledgeable about them, I'd like to talk to you. themcdonalds 0 #3 Posted April 4, 2012 I pulled the trigger today and bought that unit in Alabama. Got them down to $1500. I wanted to put $100 down; but, to get the $1500 price they wanted $250 down. So now I have to plan a trip to drive down, give it a very close examination, and pay the other $1250. So, as I'm told and from what I've seen, it's a 1998 (or is it 1989?) 520xi with a 60 inch deck. This deck is 320 lbs!!! It has 450 or so hours on it. Looks mint except for the oils leak (rear seal I hope). So I'll take it for a ride cut some grass---if I can find some (it's in a commercial area) and just see how it does.
