pfrederi 17,197 #1 Posted March 25, 2012 My new 310-8 21-10k801 Serial 13167 (makes it an 1985 I think) has an all red hood. I have sanded and scratched an it is only red. Most all the pictures of that vintage show the black band on the front. I am pretty sure the paint job on mine is original. (It was not one of WHs best moments. No primer and it peeled off in several areas leading to surface rust. Based on my examination and the decals It looks all red to me. I know 310-8 were a built to price point model (small tires and a cheesy electrical system)_ did they save even more with a unicolor paint job? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
