gwgdog66 23 #1 Posted March 23, 2012 I have a 1990 312-8, mdl # 31-12K801, and the parking brake light is staying on when it is running. The parking brake isn't set. The tractor runs and mows just fine. I'm trying to figure out where the parking brake switch is located, so I can check it to see if it might be stuck or unplugged. I've looked at the parts diagram, and I'm not finding a brake switch. Any help will be appreciated :grin: Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

BOWTIE 226 #3 Posted March 23, 2012 HELLO, IF YOU MEAN THE DASH IDIOT LIGHTS. THAT SWITCH IS BY THE SHIFTER CONSOLE. IT IS THE LEVER YOU PUSH WHEN SETTING THE PARKING BRAKE. REMOVE THE CONSOLE PLATE THERE WILL BE A MICRO SWITCH WITH A 3 WIRE PLUG. CHECK THE CONNECTIONS AND SWITCH. BOWTIE IN OHIO Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
