42 Inch Snow Blower Repair

I decided to replace some parts on my snow blower. the drive pulley, the bearings on the drive shaft, the sprocket for the chain, idler sprockets. Well the drive pulley was a little contrary. So this is what Idid to it.

Then the bearings were contrary too I had to grind them off.

Then I had to cut the drive sprocket.

The old idler sprockets came of easy, Picture of two new ones.

Here are the finished job

And chain guard reinstalled.

Looks great. We just finally got SNOW here in Central Oregon today so I got to use mine. I had a blast and the neighbors just love me. Mine worked great. I will have to replace the cable to turn the chute, but thats ok.

Where did you get your replacement parts from?

:thanks: Got the jack shaft pulley and chain sprocket at McMaster-Carr, the idler sprockets on ebay, the jack shaft brearings on ebay, the chain at TSC, the chain guards at Toro :thumbs:
