multihobbyguy 35 #1 Posted March 20, 2012 I am working on a 6.25 Kohler and I pulled the fuel pump thinking it was a vacuum type but it looks like a mechanical type but there was no rod/lever and looks like there never was a rod/lever. I was wondering if you can tell me from the pictures what type of fuel pump it is. Sorry I have no history on the engine. I am using it on a 704 that I am redoing. Thanks, Chris. buckrancher 2,678 #2 Posted March 20, 2012 It's a vacuum pulse style pump it uses crankcase pressure from the up and down movement of the piston to move a diaphragm up and down inside the pump to move fuel thru two check valves and up to the carburator Brian Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
