meadowfield 2,545 #1 Posted March 14, 2012 As mentioned before - it's taken a while on my behalf but I'm now legal to drive on the road in the UK. Those kind folks at Toro gave me a letter to prove my tractor was built in Belgium and was genuine... I've managed to get it insured and with all the necessary forms I went to my local vehicle licensing office last friday. I thought it might have been a bit tricky and sometimes you have to prove import taxes, etc were paid... The very nice lady went through all my docs and said no problem, docs will come in the post in the next 7-10 days. 5 days later here it is ! Agricultural vehicles are free from annual testing (MOT checks) and road licence (annual vehicle tax). In principal very simple to do - in practice a lot of red tape and forms to fill in !
