44" Two-Stage Blower, What parts am I missing ??

Recommended Posts

SgtBob

I have used this blower as shown for several years without incident, but I know it is missing some parts to stabilize it. It is comming off the tractor soon and I will have till next winter to find the missing parts. I was wondering if someone who has a complete proper setup on their tractor could take a couple photos and post them here for a visual aid, and possibly some part numbers for the pieces I am missing. It is model number 79361

I'm missing the same brackets. I know some of the parts are no longer available. I haven't wasted anymore time looking. Good luck

There you go. You should see what you are missing up at the top. The parts you don't have are intended to stop the blower from swaying sideways and having the belt rub against the hood. You are also missing a PTO belt guard...no great deal

You're missing the anti-sway bracket that bolts to the right side of the frame under the engine, and the bracket for the belt guard....If I get time tonight, I'll run out and get a couple pic.

Shuboxlover,

Thank you for the photos. Below I have shown a photo of two, of the parts I have. In looking at your photos and the diagram at Toro master parts viewer page, one significant part I am missing is a "Bracket Guard" which is #20 in the diagram - part number 117550 ( OUCH..........$61.07 @ partstree.com). Would you please look at your setup and let me know if there are any other Toro specific parts I would need or would the rest be just general nuts, bolts, and clips ?

If anyone may have this " Bracket Guard " available used, please let me know.

Thanks, Bob

The bracket guard is the one thing that sometimes gets left on the tractor when the blower goes. Maybe Kelly has one if not you could fashion something to extend from the right side of the frame to keep the blower in line I would think. It is the mounting base for the part you have.
