what tractor is this deck for a suburban or rj

just curious what tractor this fits since there is a couple differant decks for the rj`s and suburban tractors

Not sure about the 1961 Suburban "401", but the 551 decks had 4 gauge wheels at the corners of the deck.

That deck is the 1960 version of the RMR-32. (prior year versions had the foot engagment pedal built into the deck, this one engaged by a pedal that went on the foot peg of the tractor.) The 1961 was the RMR-3261, which like Kevin said has four wheels on the four corners. The RMR-32 only had those skids on the side, no wheels. It should work just fine on a 1961 401, but I'm not sure about the 551. The 551 had the "new" two piece Uni-drive, and this deck was lifted by a long rod connected to an L bracket that went in the slot hitch that pulled the deck to swing back and up. I'm not sure about the dimensions and whether that would work on a 551 without hitting the transmission case. Regardless...I'm sure it could be made to adapt will little effort if it was a problem.
