fourwheels0 191 #1 Posted March 6, 2012 are the tierods repairable on a 73 model 14 (see pic of tractor) or do you just replace the whole thing?. i went out this morning and found 1 of mine just hanging there. i don't see any clips that hold them on. Kelly 1,033 #2 Posted March 6, 2012 No they are not repairable, well I've heard of people putting the ball back in and peening the metal back tight around the ball, but that is a band aid, to get you going again, new tie rods for the most part are adjustable, and that is nice most spindles have a tweak in them and the wheels are not straight because of that, and being the adjustable style means there is no left and right, if you buy orig, nonadjustable ones be sure to get the side you need. MrHorseMan 0 #3 Posted March 7, 2012 I thought the old one piece tie rods cross referenced over to the adjustable ones?

Kelly 1,033 #5 Posted March 7, 2012 I thought the old one piece tie rods cross referenced over to the adjustable ones? They probably do, but you can still get new old stock solid ones or used if you can find good ones.
