Quick Question - Raider 9 = Long Frame or Short Frame?

Recommended Posts

leeave96

I've got a front blade that came off a Raider 9 tractor. This blade is definately a short frame tractor blade, BUT it was mounted to the Raider 9 when I bought it and I can't remember, but I gather it rotated side to side OK without hitting the wheels. The mounting bracket from Wheelhorse is different then the later brackets in that it sets the mounting location to the front of the axle rather than centered under the rear axle. I guess this difference in mounting at the rear axle gave the blade enough clearance when rotated to clear the wheels.

Anyone else have a similar setup?

Thanks!

Bill

Bill the Raider 9 is a long frame tractor.

Are you positive the A frame on the blade is a short frame type?

Some pictures would help IDing it, or measure from the 3/4" bar attachment point to where the blade pivots at.

Some good information in this thread...
