BPjunk 184 #1 Posted July 6, 2008 Here is a spy photograph taken at the Pearson Plantation Reaserch and Development Department. This tractor was seen while the service crew was moving tractors about on the Pearson Plantation today. What is known 'bout this tractor is that is a MOUNTAIN MOTORED RJ-58!!! A journel was discovered under the mower deck that had a cover page that read TOP SECRET Project White Lightning. One of the entries in the journel said that the right front tire blew out at 67 MPH and that more caster was needed for better steering and the stablizer wheels on the mower deck did help out in turns above 45 MPH. UH ... oh yeah and there wus sumtin' written 'bout needin' a whole lot more brakes! The high torque exhaust stack looks kinda like it took a beatin' also! <_< Will Terry's Pure Evil Black Tractor be up against a White Lightning White Knight at the show next year???? TT-(Moderator) 1,129 #5 Posted July 6, 2008 Are those TRAINING WHEELS on the sides on the mower deck?
BPjunk 184 #6 Posted July 6, 2008 Here a quick picture of the Mountain Motor Clinton showing a cut air filter assembly for quick access to the hand lever to work the mower deck stablizer. Also note the custom air cover for the flywheels cooling fins. (yeah that' s cool) Mashed knuckles must be a common accurance when speed shifting with the shift lever so close to the engine block! Wild Bill in Richmond, Va. Hey caffine OR NO caffine this is a real tractor in my back yard! Attached Image

TT-(Moderator) 1,129 #8 Posted July 6, 2008 That's a liitle worse than my 400 Suburban was when I first bought it. It only had a 7hp aluminum Briggs. The hood was cut off at upper steering shaft too! B)
