grnlark 489 #1 Posted February 26, 2012 Does anyone offer the green and white Wheel Horse decals for the '55 RJ35 anymore? I'd like to buy a set vs. have to repro them. I've scanned one into Illustrator so if I need to make them I can but I'd much rather just buy a set.

TT-(Moderator) 1,162 #4 Posted February 26, 2012 There shouldn't be any white showing below the bottom "shadow":
grnlark 489 #6 Posted February 26, 2012 There shouldn't be any white showing below the bottom "shadow": Thats my point exactly. I want to get another set before I peel the ones off the '55 I just bought. I'm not crazy about the quality of these either. I might just repro them myself with a much higher grade vinyl and screening. Steve, PM back
AMC RULES 37,196 #7 Posted February 26, 2012 I'm interested in a set if you do Matt.
stevebo-(Moderator) 8,539 #8 Posted February 26, 2012 The top side of mine (see pic) is curved and the ones you have are squared on the top. Both are not correct on the bottom unless I could have removed the bottom white corners??
VinsRJ 723 #9 Posted February 27, 2012 TT is correct. I have posted some pics of my NOS RJ35 Decals. Just to bad they are starting to split. Even so I may still use them on my 35 resto.

grnlark 489 #14 Posted February 27, 2012 So believe it or not, I actually have a source where we can get these made in silk-screened water-slide decals just like the originals. Problem is the setup cost. I can make as many decals as I can fit on a 8x11 sheet and I can mix and match different decals on the same sheet. The initial setup and run is a minimum of 50 sheets and a total cost of $600. Hhhhhhmmmmmm....... Kinda hefty in my opinion. Just wondering what other models would have used water slide decals too and wondering if theres enough demand to warrant the investment?

Vinylguy 4,692 #17 Posted February 27, 2012 Guys I will replicate them as soon as you get me some dimensions. Been needing a good picture or a scan for a long time now. Was there any other decal used on this tractor?

Vinylguy 4,692 #19 Posted February 27, 2012 Here is what I have so far. Need a Higher resolution image or preferably a scan at 300 dpi in order to get the letters a bit more accurate. Correct dimensions also.

stevebo-(Moderator) 8,539 #23 Posted February 28, 2012 Mine says Fed US Pat Off But could not verify 100% caps or not and spacing as I have something in front of it in storage to see it perfectly. Also these are reproductions as well.
VinsRJ 723 #24 Posted February 28, 2012 The ovals on my originals say : REG US PAT OFF In all caps, no periods between the "US", horizantally lined up down the middle of the oval and letter spaced via the vertical center line.
AMC RULES 37,196 #25 Posted February 28, 2012 If you click on Vins pict, it'll enlarge it to full screen...see the details better. Don't forget, your camera has a macro setting too. :dunno:
