JoeMonag 1 #28 Posted February 29, 2012 Ken, I have an '86 416-8 with a rebuilt K341-s and an '88 310-8. While the 310-8 is a rugged machine the 416-8 is a beast. I put a two stage sno-thrower on it inthe winter. The two stage has a very heavy duty Spring that you preload as part of the installation. And there is another lift assist spring taht comes with it. I find it easier to lift the 380 pound two stage, on the 416, than my 42" dozer blade on my 310. Regardless of manual or hydro lift, you will need wheel weights and extra weight onthe rear to offset the weight of the two stage in the raised position. It looks like the PO took good care of it, good luck. Joe in Norton,MA

I had three Economy's last week, I'm now down to my one keeper. I have always liked the 4 series tractors.

bo dawg 518 #47 Posted April 28, 2012 Sweet tractor Ken! It's like when you see one of those fancy chocolates in a candy shop that looks so good but to pretty to eat, but the temptation to eat it is stronger than the desire to look at it. What do you do? So you can say that tractor looks good enough to eat? I'm just saying! :bow-blue:
