Paul D. 26 #1 Posted February 11, 2012 We got over 12" of snow and it's coming down at 2" an hour. I got the drives done but blew out a bearing in the process. Toro dealer doesn't have it. Do tou think my local farm store will? I can't find the pt. # on the thrower. But I pulled the old bearing to compare. This sucks. Best snow of the year and I'm side lined
smoreau 658 #2 Posted February 11, 2012 TSC should have what you need, witch bearing blew? If its the idler sprocket or the drive bearing? if its the drive bearing you will need to take the side plates with you to make sure the new bearing will fit rite. Paul D. 26 #3 Posted February 11, 2012 On the parts viewer it looks like its pt.# 101782 but mine doesn't look exactly like that. It't the shaft on the side opposite the pulleys
smoreau 658 #5 Posted February 11, 2012 take 21 and both 41 pieces with you to make sure the new insert will fit. If it doesn't then buy there plates so it will work. You may need to drive out a roll pin that holds the bearing on.
