SIDE DISCHARGE INTO REAR DISCHARGE

HAS ANYONE EVER FAB'ED A SIDE DISCHARGE INTO A REAR...IS IT POSSIBLE, I THINK THE REAR DISCHARGE ARE MUCH BETTER.

Depends what model of deck you are talking about.

I would say with a 36" side discharge it could be converted since both the side & rear discharge in that size are very similar.

Now if your talking the 42" models, the deck shells are nothing alike, nothings impossible....but it would be more work an expense than buying another deck in my opinion.

CANT YOU JUST BLOCK OFF THE SIDE AND CUT OUT THE BACK....I ALMOST DID IT TO MY CRAPSMAN.

Not really on a 42" the shape of the deck in the back and the hangers will not let you cut much out, I have a few nice 42" RD decks not sure where you are.

If you need or want a rear discharge I'd look for one.

With the back of a 42" SD deck cut out I'd think it would weaken it.
