Retired Wrencher 5,817 #1 Posted January 28, 2012 :USA: Hi I had some scrap lumber and I thought I have a couple of Motors not in use, so I built an engine stand that is portable and to my height while in a mechanic stool it is about 3` ground to top. This will also be used as a tire changer that I bought from Harbor Fright. She is real sturdy no wobble at all. If it is in my way just move it. Enjoy the Pick`s Gary B............................ I have the mini tire changer from Harbor Freight and it only works for me if I use it in a bench vise which is on a real heavy bench. While I'm wrestling tires on and off rims the bench sometimes starts to "walk". Your table might not be heavy enough for the tire changer. Mike........ I was thinking only do the fronts anyway the rears look good for now. And Paul no I what it to be flat on the ground as I said it is light but sturdy. and not high from the ground. it is a custom made for me,and my height.
