D series steering wheel

OK, trying to get my steering wheel off the steering shaft, wont budge? :banghead: I have soaked it with p.b.blaster and finely did get the nut to break loose. :greetings-clappingyellow: Now how do I get the steering wheel off? :confusion-scratchheadblue: Any thoughts ?

OK...this may sound a little dumb but....I fashioned a puller out of 2 pieces of angle steel with a 3/4 inch "U" cut out of the middle of each piece. That fits around the steering shaft under the steering wheel like overlapped from both sides if you get my drift. 2 holes were drilled in the angles on each side of the steering wheel and then I used 2 of the rear attach bracket pieces to pull with using a couple threaded shafts. I found a big nut to place in between to push or pull whatever. Hard to describe but I did remove 2 with it. Mine and one other one. Both looked very rusted and bonded. It took a couple days of pressure for both.
