JohnnyO64 4 #1 Posted January 27, 2012 I am looking for help also trying to identify a WH that I just picked up. I know it is a C-120 with a 12hp Kohler, 8 spd. But i am trying to identify the year of this tractor and what all the numbers on the ID mean? I am able to see the ID tag on the tractor, it shows on the top line of the tag 71-12K801-18864, then on the smaller bottom line 71-36. Can anyone identify the year of this tractor and what the rest of the numbers mean? Any help would be great!! Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Model lists can be found here: http://www.wheelhors...icture-gallery/ A simple breakdown of the model number for your particular tractor would be: "7" = 1977 "1" = tractor "12" = engine horsepower "K" = Kohler "01" = what parts list to use when looking up parts (not overly important anymore) "18864" = the serial number for your tractor (not overly important either) "7136" = the Julian build date of your tractor ~ which would be the 136th day of 1977 or Monday, May 16th.
