Kelly 1,028 #7 Posted January 27, 2012 I tell people that when they ask me about new tines, I tell them I can sell you a whole tiller cheaper, a few have checked prices and came back to buy a tiller.
can whlvr 991 #8 Posted January 28, 2012 a guy could almost buy 2 tillers for that
kpinnc 10,809 #9 Posted January 28, 2012 I found a Ford tiller that had the exact same tines, with the exception of having just 1 extra tine on the ends- and 2 bolts took care of those: I don't remember what model it was, but it might be a good alternate place to start looking. Mine were virtually NOS, and I got them for $60. Or if you're handy with a welder... Make your own set from another machine's tines and your tiller tine "shafts". Daddy Don 893 #10 Posted January 30, 2012 We just bought a 36inch tiller that had Ford on it. It is the same tiller that wheel horse uses. Check with Ford New Holland and see what they get for them/ See the tiller on this site posted by Prater above this one.
kpinnc 10,809 #11 Posted January 30, 2012 And don't only look for New Holland fords. my tines came from an older machine. Probably 1970s LGT stuff, as far as I could tell.
