scooby78 0 #1 Posted January 25, 2012 I just got my first wheel horse lawn tractor from my dad. He bought it in 1984 for my great grand parents they never changed the oil so it smokes for the last 15-20 yrs it has sat in the back of the barn not ran or nothing i hooked up a battery to it and it does turn over. what im wondering is where to find the serial and model numbers and also where to find parts it has no deck or any other attachments and it needs a new seat for sure i really appreciate this im looking forward to restoring this tractor and making it run like new again. fourwheels0 191 #9 Posted January 26, 2012 sorry but that is not a wheel horse. that's a lawn mower and not a garden tractor. i'm thinking there was a reason it sat so long. it's just not worth messing with.

scooby78 0 #16 Posted January 27, 2012 Thank you for all the help I now know that it was built in 1974 by poloron. I have decided to rebuild and customize it. If nothing else it will give me practice and training for when i do finally get an actual wheel horse. I will keep posting my progress and probably have all kinds of questions. :bow-blue:
