GT-14 Implement valve servicing

I'm sure they are all the same - well similar...

I've stripped mine down to clean and service. The spool itself and casting are in good shape, one of the O rings has split. They are square section and 1/2" across - do they have to be replaced with square section or will conventional round ones suffice as a replacement?
