mattd860 162 #1 Posted January 23, 2012 Where do you all get your tire chains from? I need chains to fit my 520H with 23x10.50-12 tires. There are a bunch of 2-link chains for sale on ebay as well as some sold by my local dealer for a much higher price. I want a good beefy set of chains so I don't mind paying for them. But if the chains on ebay are the same as the dealer or just as good, I wouldn't mind saving some $$$.
shallowwatersailor 3,214 #2 Posted January 23, 2012 For what it is worth, I bought a set of rubber chains this year. Finally tried them over the weekend with mainly ice with snow and was able to plow a neighbors driveway uphill without spinning - and marking his driveway. stevasaurus 23,303 #3 Posted January 23, 2012 Matt, if you can get through the winter, you should be able to get them at the big show. I, being a very patient individual, have had them given to me. You do need to be careful of the size though. John's rubber chains is the way to go , if you do not want to leave any marks.
hm12460 53 #4 Posted January 23, 2012 I've bought several sets on e-bay over the years with good results. Local dealers are ridiclous.
