86-42STO1 snow blower on a 417-8?

I have a a 417-8 Wheel Horse. it's a 1985 31-17K801 with an electric lift. I'm looking to buy a snow blower for it. was looking at a 86-42ST01-04904, and was wondering if this would fit my tractor and if it the electic lift would work with it.Thanks for any help!!!

:WRS: I would say yes to the snowblower fitting your tractor since the one that would have been avaliable for it at the time, would be (06 -42ST04) Electric Lift I don't know about how much they are able to lift. Possible you could get a lift assist spring to help it out.

Yes it will & the electric lift will have no problem lifting it....I have the same tractor. :handgestures-thumbup:
