71_Bronco 1,072 #1 Posted January 19, 2012 I am looking to get a carb rebuild kit, and I need to make sure I get the correct one. I looked at my carb this morning, and it says "Carter Model" on it. The carb came with a K91 that had a gear reducer on it. Stupid me forgot to look inside for the size of the carb, which I will do tonight. The issue is, that I don't know what Model the carb is. There is a letter after the word "Model" and it looks to be either an "M" or an "N". I can see the first half of the letter, but the second half is not there, almost like a casting defect. I will post pics tonight, as well as any other numbers stamped on the body. And yes, I did try looking in the tacked post about Kohler Carb ID, and couldnt find anything that would help. Thanks guys. 71_Bronco 1,072 #3 Posted January 20, 2012 Thanks TT for the help and the manual. I have it downloaded and saved. Will come in handy for sure. Here are the pics of the markings on the main body. I couldn't get a pic of the inside but it looked like an "8" for the throttle bore diameter.
