tires for Raider 9, 1968

I am restoring my Raider 9, 1968. The back tires are 23X8.50-12. Can I use 23X10.50-12?

Yes they will fit under the rear fender but when mounted up on 7"wide rims (yours are 7") they end up with a rounded tread pattern and not a 10.5 wide flat tread pattern and are a bit taller than 23".

i used 23 x 9.5 x 12 carlisle turf savers on the 1057 im rebuilding. fit the 7 inch rims well i think, and there just a little wider......all tire info i could find said that 7 inch rim was ok for this size......

Guys, I did not plan on all this work. I am still sanding and priming. I have ordered a number of parts(small things but they add up). Parts, paint, tires, seat and supplies, when will it stop!!!!!! I am enjoying this project. Taking the motor to be checked next week. I know were to stop and leave it to the pros.

Brought the tires today, 1-16-12. Front 16x6.50-8 and back 23x9.50-12.
