520H - 60" versus 48" mowing decks (side discharge)

Chaps,

On a 520H the 60" mowing deck height is restricted to the third notch on the lever. A little more height can be gained by raising the deck with the hydraulic cylinder.. not much though...

Question: How much higher can a 48" mowing deck be set and can one engage in a bit of 'slashing' action for longish grass? (ankle deep when standing on your head.... well maybe not that long...)

If you take the deck off, you can adjust the nut on the back of the deck, for the hanger assembly, this will allow you to use the highest position on a 60" deck.
