74 C-120 PTO Lever Question

Recommended Posts

Anglo Traction

Thought I'd ask the question first before I tighten up the bolt.

Does the PTO Lever Bar that engages the Switch on one end, touch the Bolt Head (one not yet tightened up in Pic) to act as a stop for the Lever at the other end? (the end with the hole in it).

If it is supposed to, I'll have to make up a special one that protrudes further. I don't have a Brake Pad on the PTO Clutch Pulley to limit disengagement travel.

Thanks in anticipation

Many Thanks Don for the quick reply and sorry to make you go out into the cold. Yes , it's 0130 here and I'm up again at 0730. I have no Body Clock any more, too many years of shift work and Insomnia (I lay awake all night wondering what Insomnia means).

Thanks again. Regards.

Insomnia means: That 12 hour shift tomorrow is going to really suck!

Just to add a few pictures, here are two pics, one engaged, the other disengaged. My bolt has a 5/16" collar on it. But anything that can be used as a stopper. My worker has larger nut in place of the collar.
