HI all

I am attempting to go online to find parts manual for my 520-8 1990 tractor. I am unable to post the correct model and serial numbers. The numbers in the left seat pan on my tractor are 41-200801 and 10400 and 9269 and 10125. I have attempted to place them on the operators parts manual site with no results. Any idea what is the model number and which is the serial number?

Thanks

John in VT

Your tractor is a 1990. You can download a bunch of free manuals from Toro but it looks like you'll have to purchase the 98 page parts manual. Here's the direct link, put 41-20O801 for model number and "none" for serial number. The "O" stands for Onan.

Good luck. I just checked to see how much the parts manual is but it said it wasn't available. give them a call during regular business hours and they can probably help you. The number is 888-384-9939.

Thanks for the welcome Road Track. I very much enjoy this site. It has provided me with very good info. The response time to have a question answered is fantastic and the moderator keeps the site interesting as well as organized. Nice to meet another vermonter on this site.

When I need to look up parts, I find Small Engine Parts Warehouse to be an invaluable site. It's easy to find parts diagrams for your model, and if the part is no longer available, you can cross-reference the part number to find what other models the part fits. A search on eBay or even a "wanted" ad here may turn up what you need either in new or used.

Here is the site. You need to selected Toro Consumer Equipment as your OEM, then under model put either 520-8 or 41-20O801. Once you have learned to navigate your way around, it is a great place to look up parts, find availability, number changes and price. I actually find it to be easier than a book.

I am working on my friends Toro/Wheel Horse 520-8 riding lawn mower.  I need a new Ign coil for engine P220G-I/10956C model 41-20o801.  Amazon has a few ign coils but not sure if they will work.  Onan wants $250.00, the ones on Amazon look the same and less than $50.00.  I am trying to keep the costs down for my friend.  Any help would be appreciated.

People at Onan have a mask on when you deal with them so you won't be able to identify the thief who stole your money.    The one from Amazon will be fine.

I believe if you search around here you'll find some info about a Harley coil being the same or at least usable...and far more reasonable of a price tag.
