Wheel Crazy 23 #1 Posted January 9, 2012 Any of you guys or gails ice fish? If so, have you ever taken your tractor out onto the ice? It would be kind of cool to take out my Wheel Horse onto the lake and pull my shanty! Have any of you guys thought about this? I would probably need weights and chains though too! I really want to go ice fishing, but everytime the water starts to feeze, the temperature warms rights and melts it!

kloe0699 12 #6 Posted January 9, 2012 A few years ago we had good ice and no snow. I dragged my portable shanty and stuff out with my 73 10-8. I had roller chain on the front and 4 link v-bars on the back. I would do it more often but usually we have snow. Getting the tractor from the lake to the truck uphill would be difficult in any amount of snow. It sure beat walking way out there, and it drew lots of attention!
