Kelly 1,033 #1 Posted January 8, 2012 I got a line on a couple tractors from a friend, and called on them, the owner didn't give much info just one ran but the RPMs go wild, the other he never messed with, the price was right $150 and only 20 miles away, so I went to look with cash and a trailer, he bought the 314 new, but never mantained it very well, he thinks the gov. is bad, it's a 1995 the other 310 is a 1989 both 8 speeds, also included was a ruff 42" SD deck, and a ruff 48" plow missing the handle like most, but does have a axle bracket, he also threw in some junk mower tires and rims, I didn't want but was part of the deal, I'm going to see if and how they run this afternoon, they both may end up as parts tractors, not sure yet. more on them later. Kelly 1,033 #9 Posted January 8, 2012 Well update, both run no smoke, the 310 has carb issues go figure it's a walboro, but the tractor will be a parts machine it's ruff, unless someone wants to buy it, the deck is parts only, the blade head is junk, someone never looked at he wear edge and it's toast, eat right into the blade bad, but the frame is good, the 314 was a simple fix the throttle plate fell off, pulled the carb installed new screws and runs great, needs a starter it work when it feels like it, drove it around very strong, I think I'm going to fix a few things on it and it will be up for sale.
