Where is the SNOW? V-Blade waiting

Recommended Posts

smoreau

I have this very nice V-Blade for my 417A and a very nice single stage for my 520H and no SNOW! :banghead: 52Deg. yesterday and no snow in the forcast!

I went out to the shed today and the right rear tire was flat today on the 417A :eusa-think: so I had to finish up what was in thw shop so I could get it in to fix the tire. What I had in the shop was my dads c81. I was getting it ready for next years lawn duty by changing all the fluids, cleaning it from front to back, and fixing anything that needed attention. So I got that all done and pulled in the 417A and gave that some attention with rebushing the starter and pulling the tire off so I can take it to work Mon. and installing a new tube. I then put some marine stable in all the tractors and let the kids run the tractors all around the back yard today to get it all mixed up and into the carbs.I did get allot done, but wish there was some SNOW!! It's winter, right?

Your V-blade video was awesome, I showed the Frau and told her that was what I wanted next and she was like "No Way"!

Seriously, I agree perhaps its a Nina or is it a nino when its a mildwinter? Of course now, we will get pounded in Feb!

Its crazy warm here in Connecticut as well. I have three machines with plows and a walk behind blower all suited up for battle.........but no snow in sight.

I'm not complaining as I'm not a big fan of snow tho!

I'm thinking of swaping the blower for the deck the way the weather has been.

We had about 10 inches on both Halloween and Thanksgiving - All melted. Two inches or so on Christmas - melted. Probably won't get any until Valentine's Day :)

I'm not complaining though - I have to clear my yard and my in-laws each storm...

I agree with sparky .If we have at least one or two good size storms it would not bother me as long as we do not see what we had last year

This the first year I decided to do my own driveway. Usually I just put my Horse away for the winter however after coming to the Wheel Horse Show last summer, joining R/S then buying the 314, I decided I needed more reasons to play. So after a few more aquisitions here we are....nothing to do. Orillia used to be in the snow belt for Ontario. I remember coming down here in the '70's and the snow banks were 8 ft high. We don't have 2" on the ground which is barely frozen. Like Don said, yesterday here was 50 F.

I went out yesterday to trim the hedges since it was almost 60. I took the Charger 10 for a ride and came across a fully open dandelion. Last year in CT it didn't snow till January 6 then all h@-& broke loose and roofs were collapsing from so much snow. Hang in there before it's all said and done I'm sure we will have an opportunity to play.

its very strange indeed, where we live we would usually have had 8- 10 feet by now,yes it melts down in between falls but this is crazy,i like it but well pay for it,somehow
