No - just pull it slowly and it should be fine. (there is no bypass on the Eaton 1100 hydro unit)

The Eatons do not have a release valve like the Sundstrands had so you need to move it real slowly when you winch it.

Easiest way to move a 520-H is to let The Duke know you need it moved. He will show up

with cash in hand and it'll be gone. :ychain: Now if you want it for yourself then the other

responses will work out just fine. :handgestures-thumbup:

Sounds like a safety switch issue to me.

Is the oil level up where it needs to be. I think it has a low oil switch as well.

Start with makeing sure the battery is up to snuff then grounds ( yes they have more than one) PTO,seat and nuetral safey, if them aint it, its time for the dreaded 9 pin connector. O and check the fuse panel the connectors can fail ther also.

Yeah, prob. a safety switch.I just went outside to take a quick look at it,the seat switch has a crappy jump wire.I'll look at it more tomorrow.I should have thought of that, just have a lot on my mind right now...

First thing I do is jump out the seat switch and clean the grounds if it doesn't turn over with the key... Also don't forget about checking the fuses, could also be the fuse block if it sat outside... Run a 12v+ to the coil, and jump it at the solenoid... You will find out soon enough if it runs or not... Btw don't forget about pictures!
