K91 Bearing, HELP!

Recommended Posts

71_Bronco

Looking for the bearing that gets pressed into the bearing plate on my K91. According to my manual, it says part number: 200110. I tried parts tree, but says it's discontinued. Any other sources that may have this? Or am I going to have try to cross reference it?

Also looking for the seal that goes on the bearing plate, part number: X-271-15. Parts tree has these listed for like 5 and change if I recall correctly. Anything I need to be aware of with this part or is this good to go? I think I recall something about the axle seals that had issues. Do these crank seals have the same problems?

Thanks so much guys!

go to ebay and type in the number on the bearing, not the name, i found both new crank bearings for my kohler for about $20.00 you might also try your local fastenal dealer, i get bearings there to. good luck :)

Saw those seal's on Ebay a few times before. Parts-tree has them listed for less, so I will just buy from them next time I order (which will be pretty soon). I did end up buying the bearing as the only place I found it other than ebay wanted like 25 bucks for it.

Thanks so much for the links!

hey wheelhorse656, are you sure those bearings on eBay are the right ones because i thought they had to be open without the metal cover so the internals would be exposed, then the bearing would be lubricated by the engine oil or is the bearing in the picture just an example. i hope this doesnt sound confusing. :eusa-think:

The bearing I pulled out had one side shielded, and the other side exposed. The exposed side was towards the piston so the engine oil could lubricate it. I don't think I have ever seen a ball bearing with shields missing on both sides.

So in short, yes you are correct, and no, not confusing.

Got the bearing in yesterday. It was the same as the one I had, shield on one side and open on the other.

Not a problem Jordan, I understand people have things that come before Red-Square.

I was outside this morning cleaning my Bearing Plate and I tried the new bearing. Got about 1/4 to 1/3 of the way in, then started to bind. Looks like it will be perfect.

Gotta head over to Parts Tree at some point to put together an order. Lord knows I have parts to order LOL
